THE MAIN PROBLEMS

1. Growers/Suppliers often ship PRODUCE that do not meet US1 standards, causing losses to the US distributor (CONSIGNOR) and also to the one who sent the Fresh Fruits/Vegetables (PRODUCE).

​ 2. Inadequate PROCEDURES between the SALES TEAM and the ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT (accounts receivable & payable).

3. The sales team orders PRODUCE from a grower/supplier without having purchase orders, as a result, the PERISHABLE produce degrade in value, resulting in significant financial losses which were not caused by the grower/supplier.

4. Inadequate preservation of EVIDENCE (documents, miscommunication or lack of clarity, assumptions vs knowing). ​
